Test bench solid shafts

Designed for the ultrasonic testing of wheelset axles on wheelsets with zero to four brake discs. Testing is performed using up to six phased array probes simultaneously. Once the wheelset type and number are entered, the inspection is carried out fully automatically.

Cracks from depths of one millimetre are detected. The test is analysed on the basis of the recorded C-scan.Die Prüfung wird über das aufgenommene C-Bild ausgewertet. The inspectors’ work is simplified with the help of such functions as the suppression of form indications (without affecting the presentation of defects) and the ability to zoom into selected areas, including A-scan displays.
